Admission Requirement
(1) Aged 18 or above;
(2) Completed Secondary 3 or equivalent*;
(3) Hong Kong resident and is legally permitted to stay & work in HK;
(4) Pass the admission interview;
(5) Able to read and write in simple English; and able to communicate in simple spoken English’ and
(6) Pass the colour blindness test.
*Applicants who do not meet the academic requirement will be required to take a written examination. Applicant must pass the interview and course-specific test.

Remarks
(1) Applicants aged 65 or above are required to submit a Medical Examination Report completed and signed by a registered medical practitioner (Specified Form as attached) when applying for a course with a trade test or certification test element, or any other courses as deemed necessary by the HKIC.
(2) For the classes commenced from 1 September 2023, students will receive an allowance of maximum HK$12,910 per month according to their attendance (The allowance includes the basic allowance of maximum HK$10,000 per month and the retention allowance.) The retention allowance will be distributed after the student has successfully completed the course, passed the Intermediate Trade Test (except for specific courses) and confirmed staying in the construction industry 3 months after graduation.
