CIC Trainee Alumni Association successfully held the Master Lu Ban Birthday Celebration
To celebrate Master Lu Ban’s Birthday, the CIC Trainee Alumni Association (CICTAA) hosted a dinner gathering on 19 July 2025, drawing nearly 80 alumni. While enjoying the meal, attendees also participated in the games arranged by the Recreation Team. The lively atmosphere was filled with laughter and joy. The event served as an opportunity to strengthen alumni bonds and highlight the unity and spirit of CICTAA. Grateful thanks to all who attended and contributed to making the celebration truly unforgettable!
HKIC Alumni Exchange Focus Group
Nearly 20 alumni gathered at the Kowloon Bay campus of the Hong Kong Institute of Construction (“HKIC”) on 30 June 2025 to participate in the Alumni Exchange Focus Group, organised by the Career Support Services Unit of HKIC. During the event, alumni currently working on the front lines of the construction industry engaged in in-depth discussions with HKIC’s career services team, sharing insights into the latest market trends and industry challenges. These exchanges provided valuable perspectives to help HKIC better support its graduates in entering the construction industry. We extend our sincere thanks to these alumni for their enthusiastic participation and unwavering support. We look forward to reconnecting with them again soon!
Alumni Reunion and Gathering Event
To strengthen connections among alumni, the Construction Industry Council Training Academy Alumni Association (CICTAA) organized a one-day excursion to Lantau Island on April 27, 2025. The event featured a variety of activities designed to foster interaction and build a vibrant alumni network centered around the construction industry. Participants visited notable landmarks including the Tian Tan Buddha and Po Lin Monastery, providing an opportunity for graduates from different cohorts to reunite, share experiences, and reinforce their sense of community. Through such initiatives, CICTAA aims to inspire alumni to remain actively engaged and continue contributing to the advancement of Hong Kong’s construction sector.
Hong Kong Institute of Construction Alumni Exchange Meeting
Hong Kong Institute of Construction Alumni Exchange Meeting for the academic year 2023-2024 was successfully concluded on April 30th. The event successfully invited around 30 outstanding alumni to return to the school and share their experiences, engage in discussions with colleagues from the Career Support Services Department, and promote understanding and awareness of industry developments.
