The HKIC’s dragon boat sports team was invited to participate in the 5th Kwun Tong Seaside Sunshine Dragon Boat Race – Buildings Department 30th Anniversary Dragon Boat Invitation Cup (第5屆觀塘海濱陽光龍舟賽 - 屋宇署三十周年龍舟邀請盃) organised by the Kwun Tong Dragon Boat Sport Association on 15 October 2023. With the support and encouragement of the CIC’s Chairman, Ir Thomas Ho, the dragon boat sports team performed remarkably well in the competition, and achieved the first runner-up in the Silver Cup Division and the third runner-up in the Silver Plate Mixed Division.
