In order to enhance students' awareness to occupational safety in the construction industry and improve the occupational safety and health standard, the student development department collaborated with the Association for the Right of Industrial Accident Victims to organize the  occupational safety workshop for Certificate in Construction students on 13 December 2023 at Sheung Shui Campus. Through the brief talk and interactive games, students are enable to understand the potential risks in engineering and  the rights and responsibilities of different stakeholders in the industry regarding occupational safety. In addition, on the day of the event, Mr. Charles Pun, Senior Manager (Safety) of Hip Hing Construction Co., Ltd., was invited to be the guest speaker to share safety knowledge with students and enhance students' awareness of themselves and others.
