In preparation for the WorldSkills Competition in September, HKIC competitors have stepped up their training to achieve peak perform in the competition!

Competitors of Concrete Construction Work, Wall and Floor Tiling as well as Plumbing and Heating had set off to Guangzhou last week to undergo a month-long intensive training to further improve their skills. Competitors also went through mock challenges during the training where they were required to complete a specific challenge at a given time. Competitors had the opportunity to review areas for improvement with experts and exchange with instructors and fellow competitors at the training bases on how to enhance speed and installation techniques.

Competitors of other trades will also undertake training or participate in exchange competitions with different vocational schools to boost their capabilities and prepare for the WorldSkills Competition!
