The WorldSkills competitors of Concrete Construction Work, Joinery, Plumbing and Heating as well as Wall and Floor Tiling completed their intensive trainings in Guangzhou.

The competitors of Concrete Construction Work said the training improved their communication and cooperation within the team. The competitor of Joinery learned new jointing method that greatly increased the installation speed. The competitor of Wall and Floor Tiling learned from the mainland competitors that levelling the wall surface before tiling will take longer but the result is smoother than using plasterboard. The competitor of Plumbing and Heating learned the proper posture and technique to bend pipes and make the work more effective.

The competitors are discussing about their strategies and mentality to perfect their skills and outperform the standards of the competitions in the coming trainings. They also encouraged each other to strive for the best results in the WorldSkills Competition in September!
