The Hong Kong Institute of Construction Student Sports Day returned this year after 2 years of pandemic! Students and staff gathered on the North District Sports Ground to engage in various events such as running, long jump, high jump, shot put, and softball throw, training their mind and strength. In response to CIC's "Year of Construction Safety", a "Construction Safety Relay Race" was introduced this year. In addition to competing for speed, athletes also need to demonstrate their safety awareness and knowledge by wearing appropriate personal protective equipment for the relay race. Ir Thomas HO, Chairman of the CIC, attended the event to cheer for the athletes and serve as the judge for the "Construction Safety Relay Race". He also encouraged the students to prioritise safety and strive for excellence in order to achieve the goal of a zero-accident in the construction industry.
