After training and assessments over the past 6 months, the Hong Kong Institute of Construction has selected 7 competitors to participate in 6 skills competitions at the WorldSkills Competition, including CHAN Chun-hei (Concrete Construction Work), TSANG Hei-lam (Concrete Construction Work), FONG Chun-yin (Joinery), WU Yun-fan (Painting and Decorating), CHAN Chun-ting (Plumbing and Heating), Stephen DAI Ka-chun (Wall and Floor Tiling), as well as CHOW Lok-yin (Welding).

In the coming months, the competitors will continue to undergo a series of skills enhancement training and soft skills workshops to upskill their abilities and enhance their mentality. They will also undergo intensive training and join various exchange competitions to compete with fellow competitors. This is a good opportunity to understand their own level of skills to overcome weaknesses! The competitors will represent Hong Kong to participate in the WorldSkills Lyon 2024 in September this year and strive for their best to win medals!
