Construction Industry Council (CIC) held a flag-raising ceremony at Zero Carbon Park on 1 July 2024 to celebrate the 27th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) of the People's Republic of China.

The flag-raising team from the Hong Kong Institute of Construction - Kowloon Bay campus served as flag-raisers during the ceremony. Joined together with the Hong Kong Youth Chinese Orchestra (HKJYCCO) and over a hundred industry guests, they shared the joy of the occasion. Students were able to develop a sense of national pride and demonstrate their patriotism through the participation in the ceremony.
