According to the Hong Kong Observatory’s forecast, local weather conditions are expected to deteriorate rapidly later tomorrow (23 September). The Observatory may consider issuing the No. 8 Gale or Storm Signal between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. tomorrow. Adverse weather is expected to persist on 24 September.
To ensure student safety by avoiding travel during potentially severe weather conditions, the Hong Kong Institute of Construction announces that all classes will be suspended on 23 September and 24 September. All outdoor Training Grounds will also be temporarily closed.
The Trade Testing Center's half-day trade test scheduled for the morning of 23 September will proceed as planned, while the all-day trade test and the afternoon trade test will be postponed. The Center will be closed on 24 September.
Students are advised to remain vigilant and stay in safe places at all time.

To provide students with a platform for stress relief and friendship enhancement, the Student Development Department organised the “Body-Mind-Spirit Wellness Programme - Always Your Support” lunchtime activities at the Kwai Chung, Sheung Shui, and Kowloon Bay campuses from 26 to 28 March 2025. Through mosaic crafting, participants experienced self-relaxation and stress relief, finding inner peace while focusing on their creations.
Additionally, the event featured a lucky draw session for blessing eggs containing encouraging words, enabling participants to share blessings and encouragement with one another, thus fostering a positive and warm campus atmosphere. The activity successfully attracted over 160 students and staff, who reflected feeling supported and cared for, boosting their positive energy. Many expressed their desire for more similar events in the future, so that more students and staff can be encouraged both physically and mentally.
