According to the Hong Kong Observatory’s forecast, local weather conditions are expected to deteriorate rapidly later tomorrow (23 September). The Observatory may consider issuing the No. 8 Gale or Storm Signal between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. tomorrow. Adverse weather is expected to persist on 24 September.
To ensure student safety by avoiding travel during potentially severe weather conditions, the Hong Kong Institute of Construction announces that all classes will be suspended on 23 September and 24 September. All outdoor Training Grounds will also be temporarily closed.
The Trade Testing Center's half-day trade test scheduled for the morning of 23 September will proceed as planned, while the all-day trade test and the afternoon trade test will be postponed. The Center will be closed on 24 September.
Students are advised to remain vigilant and stay in safe places at all time.

The Hong Kong Institute of Construction (HKIC) Indoor Rowing Team participated in the Shatin District Indoor Triathlon 2025, organised by the Shatin Sports Association on 5 July 2025. This event also marked the team’s grand finale for the year. After months of rigorous training and team-building, the team members delivered outstanding performances in the competition, ultimately capturing both the first and second runner-up positions in the Corporate Men’s Relay event, adding yet another proud achievement to HKIC’s record.
The team’s remarkable results are a testament to their exceptional teamwork and unity. Through persistent training and active participation in competitions, the team members not only improved their physical fitness and technical skills, but more importantly, cultivated unwavering determination and mental resilience. This has contributed to their overall personal growth, enhancing their ability to handle pressure, collaborate with others, and thrive in multiple aspects of life.
