The “WorldSkills Hong Kong Competition 2025 Prize Presentation Ceremony” was held by WorldSkills Hong Kong on 24 July 2025, celebrating the outstanding winners and recognising their excellence across various skills competitions!

The ceremony was honoured by the presence of Mr. Francis Hourant, President of WorldSkills, Mr. David Hoey, CEO of WorldSkills, representatives from the three organisers, including our Chairman of CIC, Ir Prof. Thomas HO and Executive Director of CIC, Ir Albert CHENG, and representatives from VTC and Clothing Industry Training Authority, and distinguished guests, all witnessing the rise of new stars in Hong Kong’s skill trades.

Awards were presented in multiple skills competitions, including Wall and Floor Tiling, Painting and Decorating, Plumbing and Heating, Joinery, and Welding, which were organised by the CIC.

The winners of these five trades are currently undergoing training and will soon travel to the Mainland for intensive training, aiming to represent Hong Kong in the WorldSkills Shanghai 2026, showcasing the talent of Hong Kong’s youth!
