Hong Kong Institute of Construction (HKIC) has been providing quality construction training in Hong Kong for over 50 years.

The Hong Kong Institute of Construction STEAM Alliance “The STEAM × BIM Construction Model Creative Design Competition 2025” was successfully held on 7 February 2026! Under the guidance of HKIC’s instructors, students participated in workshops to learn Building Information Modelling (BIM) software, integrated with TwinMotion applications, to create a series of imaginative architectural works, which were then produced as 3D‑printed models. Another highlight of the event was the opportunity for students and guests to visit the “Immersive Hub” in Centre for Future Construction where they enjoyed 360° immersive videos created by the students. Through the blend of imagery and spatial experience, the students’ works extended from 2D designs to fully three-dimensional encounters, perfectly embodying the theme of “Immersion • Construction.”
HKIC congratulates all the winning teams and looks forward to seeing more innovative ideas from the students to the construction industry!
