The Hong Kong Institute of Construction Open Day 2026 was successfully held earlier at the Kowloon Bay campus, attracting many secondary school students, non-profit organisations, and members of the public. The two days event featured a dynamic and varied activities, including Programme Consultation and On-site Interviews, Construction x AI immersive Experience, Smart Technology Interactive Exploration, and STEAM Creative Workshops. By integrating technology with craftsmanship, participants were able to explore the construction industry from multiple perspectives and gain a deeper understanding of related programmes and their practical applications.

The Opening Ceremony also featured Mr. HUNG Ka-ho as the “GEN C Music Builder”, where he combined AI technology with construction elements to create a unique construction rhythm. Under the theme of “WE BUILD GEN C,” he shared insights into the future development of the construction industry, inspiring the younger generation to explore diverse career opportunities and encouraging them to join the industry.
