To foster professional exchanges between the construction industry and the education sector, the HKIC hosted two sessions of “We Build GEN C!” Construction × Education Teachers’ Gathering on 30 May 2026.

The event welcomed guests including career and life planning teachers, social workers, and administrative executives. The HKIC is also honoured to have Mr. YIP Cheuk-shing, member of the STEAM Alliance Steering Group, to share his experience from the perspective of both a painter and an alumnus. Together with HKIC’s Advanced Diploma students, they shared their learning experiences and career pathways from a “user” point of view. The sharing sessions also covered innovative applications in the construction industry, manpower demands, and HKIC’s curriculum development. AI × STEAM applied learning is also introduced, along with further education pathways and DSE subjects’ selection strategies, helping participants better support students in planning their future.

We Build GEN C! The HKIC will continue to organise a diverse range of activities and looks forward to collaborating with various communities to promote the development of STEAM education and the construction industry, nurturing future construction professionals for Hong Kong. To become a Member School of HKIC STEAM Alliance, please complete and submit the application form. Once the application is received, HKIC will contact the teacher-in-charge.
