The “Infrastructure × Education” Thematic Exhibition, jointly organised by the Development Bureau and the Construction Industry Council, with the support of the Education Bureau, returned to the Learning & Teaching Expo 2026 from 25 to 27 June 2026. Through showcasing Hong Kong’s major infrastructure projects and innovative construction technologies, the exhibition promotes STEAM education related to the construction industry and inspires students to explore opportunities in engineering technology and the construction industry.
The exhibition features four zones highlighting the latest developments in engineering and construction technology. Among them, the “WE BUILD GEN C” zone offers a range of interactive and experiential activities that provide visitors with deeper insights into the industry's innovation and future prospects. Highlights include:
- Display of winning projects from “STEAM × BIM Construction Model Creative Design Competition 2025”
- STEAM x BIM Immersive Hub
- “Construction Safety Pioneer” interactive game
- The WorldSkills Competition Zone
- A series of thematic seminars and workshops, enabling visitors to explore construction innovation, skills development, and future career opportunities from different perspectives.
The HKIC looks forward to work closely with industry and education partners to promote STEAM education and support the development of the construction industry, nurturing the next generation of construction professionals.
