To welcome the Year of the Horse, the Student Development Department held the "Fai Chun Writing for the Chinese New Year" across the Kowloon Bay, Sheung Shui, and Kwai Chung campuses in February 2026. Students and staff were invited to explore the art of calligraphy and join in festive celebrations. Ink-scented air and lively conversation filled the venues as participants practiced brushwork and inscribed auspicious phrases such as “Instant Success” and “May All Your Wishes Come True”. Traditional Lunar New Year delicacies were served, offering a tasteful complement to the cultural learning on display.

Nearly 150 enthusiastic students and staff took part. The event not only kindled greater appreciation for calligraphy and Chinese New Year customs but also strengthened campus camaraderie and supported the ongoing preservation and promotion of Chinese traditional culture.
