The 48th WorldSkills Competition will take place this September in Shanghai. Our three “Skills Competition Ambassadors” apply smart technologies in their daily work while providing hands-on and professional support to our competitors.

Mr. LAM Man-chun, Skills Ambassador in Welding, has introduced intelligent robots to assist with onsite operations. Whether for precision welding or repetitive tasks, these robots perform with enhanced stability and safety, greatly improving site safety and overall efficiency.

Mr. CHAN Chun-ting, Skills Ambassador in Plumbing and Heating, makes use of smart devices and digital platforms to help competitors access the latest competition updates in real time, analyse task requirements, and use data to develop optimal strategies, making the entire training process more efficient.

For Joinery, the Skills Ambassador Mr. FONG Chun-yin provides hands-on demonstrations, highlights critical details, and shares experience-based insights. His guidance enables competitors to master key techniques and further enhance the accuracy of their work.

Through their different approaches, the three Skills Ambassadors support both the industry and our competitors, making work and training more precise and efficient, and helping our competitors shine on the international stage!
