The Hong Kong Institute of Construction (HKIC) recently hosted the exciting “2026 Friendly Skills Competition in Wall and Floor Tiling”! Competitors from Korea and Japan were invited to compete alongside Hong Kong competitor, showcasing exceptional wall and floor tiling skills and craftsmanship.

The HKIC Director and the Principal of the HKIC - Sheung Shui campus were also present to witness the competitors’ outstanding skills and professionalism, highlighting the importance of promoting skills exchange and hands-on learning through the competition.

After several days of intense competition, experts and competitors from different regions engaged in meaningful exchanges and mutual learning. This experience not only enhanced their wall and floor tiling skills and precision in workmanship, but also fostered valuable international friendships, further promoting cross-regional collaboration and industry knowledge sharing.
