On 7 July 2026, the Hong Kong Institute of Construction (HKIC) held the “WE BUILD GEN C: New Generation Women Building the Future” Sharing Session at the Centre for Future Construction on its Kowloon Bay campus.

During the event, Dr. Morgan YANG, Director of HKIC, Ms. Rebecca CHOI, Assistant Director - Qualification and Quality Control, and Ir Dr. Stewart Wan, Assistant Director  - Training shared with the media the latest developments in construction digitalisation, the use of artificial intelligence (AI), and HKIC’s efforts to nurture industry talent. Three female students and graduates from HKIC’s Advanced Diploma programmes also demonstrated the use of construction technology tools, showcasing the skills, professionalism, and potential of the new generation of construction professionals.
