The HKIC Orientation Day for the 2026/27 Academic Year was successfully held at the Kowloon Bay Campus on 8 August. New students of the one-year and two-year full-time Advanced Diploma, Diploma in Construction and Certificate in Construction programmes officially began their learning journey at HKIC and took the first step towards pursuing a career in the construction industry. The event featured a range of engaging orientation activities, with students participating enthusiastically in a lively and energetic atmosphere.

This year’s team games combined AI, robotics and the spirit of craftsmanship. Students also experienced the newly launched CIC AI Assistant, while interactive challenges helped them learn more about industry trends, teamwork and smart construction technologies.

Through admissions information sessions and exchanges with senior students, lecturers and teaching staff, new students gained a better understanding of campus life and their learning journey, preparing them for the new academic year ahead.
