To celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, the Student Development Department organised the “Lighting Up the Mid-Autumn Festival: Lantern Craft Workshop” at the Kwai Chung Campus on 25 September 2026, attracting around 70 students and staff members to join in the festive celebration.

During the workshop, participants handcrafted their own mini Mid-Autumn lanterns, unleashing their creativity while experiencing the joy of traditional handicrafts. They also enthusiastically took part in lantern riddle games, while a cultural display introduced the customs and significance of the Mid-Autumn Festival, enhancing their understanding of Chinese traditional culture.

The workshop not only provided an opportunity for students and staff to learn more about the cultural heritage of the Mid-Autumn Festival, but also fostered interaction and camaraderie among participants. Through the event, they shared the spirit of reunion and harmony while enjoying a meaningful and memorable festive experience together.
