This programme provides the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSE) leavers who achieve certain level of academic attainment with professional training on quantity surveying of construction projects. Students can acquire holistic theoretical knowledge of the construction industry, technical skills, site practice and on-the-job training so as to prepare themselves for becoming competent quantity surveyor in the construction industry.

Graduates of Advanced Diploma programme may apply for local bachelor’s degree programmes. Graduates are also eligible for credits exemption in construction related degree programmes offered by the Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU) and University of the Built Environment. Graduates of the Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering Supervision are recognized by The Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT University) as eligible to apply for its Top-up Bachelor Degree of Engineering in Civil and Infrastructure (Honours).
