This programme aims to enhance the management staff of subcontractor the requisite knowledge and skills to improve their competence in project management and supervision works.

This programme meets
(i) the requirement of completion of the “Project Management Training Series” for the application for  registration and renewal of Register of Sub-contractors; and
(ii) CPD requirement of management staff for registration renewal,
under “Registered Specialist Trade Contractors Scheme”.

Holders of Form 3 or equivalent; and Applicants should be able to write and read in Chinese, and communicate in Cantonese; and Have a registered skilled worker (RSW) for a designated trade; or 2 years’ or above relevant working experience in Construction Management/Supervision.

To be advised

1. Obtained at least 90% of attendance rate and passed the Final Assessment (Passing mark: 50% or above)
2. Students who attended Modules 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 11 and 12 of this programme will be granted the Completion Certificate of “Project Management Training Series for Sub-contractors” (PMSZ).
3. All Modules of this programme meet the CPD requirement of management staff for registration renewal under “Registered Specialist Trade Contractors Scheme”.

Please note that tuition fee adjustments for this programme will take effect from the 2025/2026 academic year (from 1 September 2025)

Note:The content of Module 4-6, 8, 10-12 are same as “Project Management Training Series for Sub-contractors” course(PMSZ).

Module Exemption:
Under the following conditions, students will be granted a maximum of 21-hour of exemption:
‧ Students who completed any Module(s) of “Project Management Training Series for Sub-contractors” (PMSZ) offered by SPDC after 1 February 2016 can be exempted from the related Module(s) of this programme.
‧ Students who completed any Module(s) of this programme and obtained the CPD certificate within 3 years before joining this programme can be exempted from the related Module(s).
