Basic Concept on Accident Prevention; Causes of Accidents/ models and Principles of Accident Prevention; Common Accident Types and Analysis (e.g. safety responsibilities for stakeholders and accident prevention) ; Guarding for Machinery on Site; Electrical Hazards and Safety Precautions; Safe Use of Hand Tools; Manual Handling Operations; Confined Spaces Work; Risk of Working at Height and Safety Precautions and Knowledge on Fire Prevention and case studies for above topics
Recognition
The course has been recognised by the relevant Government departments and meets with the requirements under the public works contracts on safety training for management staff on site.
Admission Requirement
(i) Front-line and middle management staff on site(ii) Preference will be given to those who have possessed with reference letter from employer(iii) Applicants should be able to read and write Chinese
