Atmospheric Testing; Risk Assessment; Permit-to-work System; Use of Safety Equipment and its Development

1. Applicant should possess a “Certificate of Confined Space Competent Person” which will expire within 6 months or has expired for not more than 3 months. 2. Applicant must be able to read and write simple Chinese or English. 3. Applicant should be lawfully employable in Hong Kong, i.e. (a) Holder of Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card; or (b) Person who is not subject to any conditions of stay in Hong Kong that he shall not take up any paid or unpaid employment in Hong Kong. Dress code for class:

Campus: Must wear long pants and sleeved tops.

Workshops and training grounds: Appropriate clothing (e.g. long trousers, safety shoes) must be worn. Candidates are not allowed to wear vests, shorts, skirts, slippers, sandals, high heels or any open-toed shoes. Violators will not be allowed to attend class.

For those who violate the Student Instructions, the Council has the right to terminate their classes and examinations, and the tuition fees paid will not be refunded.
