Safety Training Course for Competent Persons of Confined Spaces Operation

Different Types of Confined Spaces; Specific Nature of Confined Spaces; Regulations Related to Confined Spaces; Potential Hazards and Dangers in Confined Spaces; Safety Procedures in Confined Spaces; Risk Assessment Report; Emergency Procedures; Atmospheric Testing; Practice on the Use of Personal Protective Equipment; Rescue Equipment.

1. This course has been recognized by the Commissioner for Labour under Section 4(2) of the Factories and Industrial Undertakings (Confined Spaces) Regulation.
2. HKIE and ICW (Hong Kong Branch) have officially granted recognition to this course towards their CPD requirements

1. Supervisors or persons engaged in confined space supervision work. 2. Applicant must be able to read and write simple Chinese or English. 3. Applicant should be lawfully employable in Hong Kong, i.e. (a) Holder of Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card; or (b) Person who is not subject to any conditions of stay in Hong Kong that he shall not take up any paid or unpaid employment in Hong Kong.
