Review of Safety Legislation; Safety Precautions in Confined Space Operations and Case Studies; Safety Equipment Used in Confined Space Operations and its Current Development.

1. Applicant should possess a “Certificate of Confined Space Certified Worker” which will expire within 6 months or has expired for not more than 3 months. 2. Applicant should be lawfully employable in Hong Kong, i.e. (a) Holder of Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card; or (b) Person who is not subject to any conditions of stay in Hong Kong that he shall not take up any paid or unpaid employment in Hong Kong.

Dress code for class:

Campus: Must wear long pants and sleeved tops.

Workshops and training grounds: Appropriate clothing (e.g. long trousers, safety shoes) must be worn. Candidates are not allowed to wear vests, shorts, skirts, slippers, sandals, high heels or any open-toed shoes. Violators will not be allowed to attend class.

For those who violate the Student Instructions, the Council has the right to terminate their classes and examinations, and the tuition fees paid will not be refunded.
