The Objective of Safety Training; The Importance of Safe Work System to Employees; General Duties of Proprietor & Persons Employed; Factories & Industrial Undertakings Ordinance & Subsidiary Regulations; The Potential Hazards of Works; Principles of Accident Prevention; Emergency Preparedness; Safety in Site Formation & Excavation; Manual Lifting & Handling; Personal Protective Equipment; Safety in Scaffolds, Working Platforms & Ladders; Control of Construction Wastes.
Admission Requirement
(i) Construction site workers, persons intending to work on construction site(ii) Applicant should be lawfully employable in Hong Kong, i.e. (i) Holder of Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card; or (ii) Person who is not subject to any conditions of stay in Hong Kong that he shall not take up any paid or unpaid employment in Hong Kong.
Remarks
This course is suitable for trainees who does not possess a MBST (Construction Work) certificate or possesses a MBST (Construction Work) certificate which has expired for more than 3 months.
