This programme aims to support umemployed or underemployed construction workers. Applicants must meet the following qualifications and submit relevant supporting documents to HKIC.
(a) Construction Workers: Starting from the year 2024, the individual must have been employed in the construction industry for at least six months, with each of those months having 15 or more days of employment; AND
(b) The individual is either: Unemployed (i.e., has actively sought construction-related work in the past month but was not hired); OR
(c) Underemployed (i.e., applicant was employed in construction-related work for two consecutive months before applying the course, but less than 15 days of work per month in average).
