Non-Chinese Speakers
The HKIC is committed to supporting ethnic minorities and other non-Chinese speakers. Apart from offering courses using English as the medium of instruction, the HKIC also reaches out to non-Chinese speaking people in community events, including career talks, neighbourhood carnivals and job fairs. The HKIC is also committed to assisting non-Chinese speaking people to adapt to local life and provide employment support.

Non-Chinese Graduate Sharing
Event
The HKIC is committed to participate in the activities of non-Chinese speakers, such as carnivals and job fairs. The HKIC also organised X'mas Fun Camp to provide more opportunities for non-Chinese speaking youngsters to learn more about the construction industry. The HKIC plans to organise more activities for non-Chinese speakers in the future so that more non-Chinese speakers can learn about the construction industry and the HKIC's professional training services.
Wan Chai Job Expo – Building a Multicultural Workplace
HKIC participated in the "Wan Chai Job Expo - Building a Multicultural Workplace" organised by the Labour Department on 14-15 September 2021. Construction training courses information, materials introducing campus life and graduate sharing were offered to non-Chinese speaking visitors. Few applications were received on-site.
X'mas Fun Camp
The first X'mas Fun Camp was held on 27-29 December 2017. Over 100 non-Chinese speaking youngsters joined the event. There were different workshops which they can taste the fun of construction.
