Hong Kong Institute of Construction (HKIC) has been providing quality construction training in Hong Kong for over 50 years.
Hong Kong Institute of Construction (HKIC) hosted the "Build。Solve。Discover" San Tin Activity Day at the San Tin Training Ground. Through a series of interactive team games, the event aimed to enhance students' teamwork, while deepening their understanding of the importance of construction safety and strengthening their knowledge acquired in classroom. Mrs. LO LEE Oi-lin, Chairperson of Hong Kong Institute of Construction Management Board, also encouraged students to prioritise safety at all times at work and use new construction technologies to achieve HKIC's motto "To dedicate • To excel".
During the event, students were divided into groups to challenge the fun games, such as “Build it Up! Future Architect”, “Safety Arrival!”, and “Pass it On! Ice Cream Cone”. Students had to apply their construction knowledge and demonstrate exceptional teamwork, intelligence, and physical strength to complete 10 games. There were also multiple hidden treasure map pieces scattered throughout the venue. Students had to search and decipher clues within the area to obtain the secret treasure. With outstanding team spirit, professional knowledge and problem-solving skills, the students of the Certificate in Construction (Electrical Installation) programme achieved the highest scores and became the overall champion of the event!
