In the 2025/26 academic year, the Student Development Department continues to prioritise students’ mental well-being and the cultivation of a positive mindset. Centered around the annual theme of “4Rs Mental Health Charter” (Rest, Relaxation, Relationship, Resilience), the department promotes elements that support mental health and foster a learning environment conducive to students' holistic development. From 24 to 30 October 2025, the department hosted the lunchtime event “Body-Mind-Spirit Wellness Programme - Effective Rest: Recharge Learning with Scent” at the Kowloon Bay, Sheung Shui and Kwai Chung campuses, inviting staff and students to create DIY sleep sachets, learn stress-relief tips and press pause for their mind and body.
The event drew enthusiastic participation, attracting over 150 staff and students. Participants enjoyed a relaxed atmosphere while making their own sleep sachets—an important step towards building a pre-bedtime wind-down routine—and explored stress-relief information to deepen self-care and strengthen psychological resilience.
We thank all staff and students who joined and supported this event. We encourage everyone to incorporate these relaxation techniques into daily life, and to continue caring for their mental well-being. The Student Development Department will be rolling out more activities centered on the “4Rs Mental Health Charter” to cultivate positive mindsets and build a campus environment that supports learning and growth. We look forward to seeing you at our future events!
